Mining and Smithing
In Runescape you may mine and smith metals such as bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant, and rune. You increase these levels by doing them over and over you start with only being able to mine Tin and Copper, when you smelt those you make a bronze bar which is one of the metals that is used as armor and weapons. Eventually you will be able to mine Iron which is used to make iron bars after that you can mine silver and then coal, now coal is one of the most essential ores in the game as you must use it to make steel, mithril, adamant, and rune, so it is essential to many players, to make things you must find an anvil and you must have a hammer with you so that you can pound the bars into things, now different things take a different number of bars a dagger for example takes 1 bar a long-sword takes 2 a kite shield takes 3 and so on. This was a short article you might say that mining and Smithing isn’t worth your time but it is a good way to make money!

Armor
This time I’ll be covering the different types of armor and shields in Runescape. There are two kinds of armor legs and bodies and two types of shields, the armor legs are plate legs or plate skirts, for armor bodies they are plate bodies and chain bodies, for shields they are kite and square shields, and there is actually a third type but that is only used by beginners it’s a wooden shield. The metal types are the same as weapons but if you don’t remember they are bronze, iron, steel, mithril, addament, and rune. For these items (weapons and shields) you have to increase your defense level to use certain types. As always there is a cost. Better armor costs more but you’ll get less protection from lower armor so you have to choose I use steel armor though you may be different I do know people that prefer iron to mithril or vice-versa but it’s still up to you!!! One more thing you CANNOT use a shield with a bow so just FYI

Weapons
In Runescape, you can get a number of different items by buying them, finding them, and trading another person for it. The first category of Items I will concentrate on is weapons since they are the most important in the game. There are seven and counting different types of melee weapons, they are daggers, swords, long swords, scimitars, battle-axes, maces, and war hammers, the metal types are bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant, and rune. There are three to four unique attacks with each weapon, such as a crush with a mace, a stab with a long sword or a pike with a battle-axe. For ranged weapons there are short-bows and long-bows the different types of wood are oak, willow, and maple, the arrows types are bronze, iron, steel, and mithril. The attacks with bows are simply three long-range, accurate, and rapid. In conclusion I prefer to fight with a steel long sword and longbow but you may be different in your weapon choice in your campaign across the map.
